APPLICATION AND RESEARCH OF BLUE LIGHT ABSORBER ON PC RESIN


Abstract:

For the blue-rich phenomenon of white LED light source, he blue light was reduced by adding blue light absorbers into the PC resin. High energy blue light could be absorbed and released in the form of heat or harmless low energy radiation by blue light absorbers so as to reduce the high-energy blue light of white LED spectrum. The results show that blue light absorbers reduce the transmittance of blue light effectively and the absorption effect is enhanced with the increase of the blue light absorbers content. In addition, the absorption of blue light will cause the lack of spectrum and decline of color rendering index, color temperature as well as luminous flux.  Different types of blue light absorbers bring different absorption effects.
