FEATURE AND APPLICATION

● UV-KD is a novel triazine-type UV absorber. It can effectively inhibit photooxidative degradation and protect polymers, especially fibrous materials, greatly upgrading the grade of textile products.

Its advantages are as follows:

 (1) Broad UV absorption range and high UV-shielding efficiency. Especially in the UVA band, its UV molar extinction coefficient is twice that of conventional triazine and benzotriazole UV absorbers.

(2) Strong adsorption capacity. It shows strong adsorption to fibers, in particular superfine fibers such as polyester and polyamide fibers.

(3) Excellent heat resistance. It resists discoloration under high temperature processes and is compatible with various processing technologies.

● UV-KD absorbs almost all ultraviolet rays within 250-400 nm wavelength, featuring strong absorption capacity and broad absorption spectrum. Its absorption performance in the UVA band can complement conventional triazine type UV absorbers.
