FEATURE AND APPLICATION

● Antioxidant 1081 is a typical thio bisphenol type antioxidant. Thanks to its special chemical structure, it performs dual functions as a freeradical terminator and hydroperoxide decomposer. It exhibits excellent synergistic effect when used together with carbon black, which is incomparable to ordinary common antioxidants. It serves as an efficient primary antioxidant for rubber, polyolefins, plastics and their finished products. It delivers particularly outstanding performance for polyethylene cable and wire materials, hence it is widely adopted in the wire and cable industry at home and abroad.

● Performance Advantages: The benefits of Antioxidant 1081 used in polyethylene are as follows:

1. Better retention of physical properties of raw materials (such as tensile strength, elongation, melt index, etc.).

2. Good preservation of electrical properties.

3. High thermal stability.

4. Improved weather resistance of finished articles.

5. Its anti-aging effect is four times that of ordinary anti-aging agents.

6. Lower volatility compared with other commonly-used antioxidants.

7. Special synergistic effect when compounded with carbon black.
